There is no sense in making fanfiction if that story does not respect the canon plot of the source where it is based because it is annoying to the readers. In addition, a stupid MC generally makes it worse. And a boring plot makes it all the more worthy of being put into the bin.

your an idiot if you think all ff should just follow the canon then whats the use of them making a ff, they can change anything they want thats why its called fan fiction and what you are looking is canon rehash fanfic, why don't you just read the manga if you want to read almost the same thing again
He didn't mean canon but basic world structure and the facts established. If even these basic facts are distorted then what's the point of reading a fanfic like that.
