It's really quite good. I wonder why the review isn't even 4 four stars. Despite it being a fantasy world, it's surprisingly logical and realistic. The MC, despite his best effort, can't solve everything, but that makes sense since being protagonist doesn't actually make him omnipotent. He has a worthy goal that he steadily marches towards even when the goal seems ever far away. He also has a combination of ruthlessness seasoned with compassion. The ruthlessness is common, but MCs in this site tend to toss away the compassion quite fast.
The mc always gets kidnapped, coerced, blackmailed. No security awareness, everyone can break into his home like a third rate brothel. Except for uplift tech he's bringing out this novel is boring.
Why da f*** did cultivation show up? I thought it was ancient china not Kungfu hustle.
Bronze bell or copper bell? Whats the real word? First it was color green or blue, next numbers are always inaccurate when used on age now this?
