The story is cute and fluffy, the pace is good. The MC and ML goes from weak to strong. The story is mainly about cooking. There is not much angst in the story. MC is a modern man. The ML was a fool at first and then was cured. It's relaxing to read, it's just that I felt the story is a bit short and the ending is a bit rushed. Recommended
Good story, but shounen-ai? TBH, you could have just replaced all the gers with women and it wouldn’t make a lick of difference. They act like women, have the same status as women, the same bodily concerns. In fact, because there are no women, they ARE essentially women. The different physiology doesn’t matter because it’s NEVER brought up. The MC also has no consciousness as a man. What modern man goes from freedom to shackles and says “meh, that’s natural.” There’s a vast difference between being a natural bottom and a ‘natural’ second-class citizen! Don’t get me wrong, it’s a VERY GOOD story. But I expected conflict between modern and history, man and his new identity as ger. Not whatever this was.
I agree that I would like to see more personal conflicts between a change in modern of historical lifestyle. It's a topic that has became a grey area when reading stories like this. Not saying that I don't like these stories, but GIMMI DAT DRAMA!
